Street Lights Of Vienna

When I move to a new city I tend to pay attention to things that haven´t been around in the city I´ve come from. Even though there are a lot of above surface power utility lines in the US, most lamps hang on a pole. In Vienna streetlamps hang from lines that stretch from one house wall to the other, and are often connected to lines that serve the tramway. Not only is it interesting to look at, but the eye wanders from lamp to line to building, focusing your attention to them in consequence. This way I´ve discovered some interesting buildings that I would´ve walked past otherwise (ok, maybe not, since I´ve learned how to discover architecture and interesting urban planning features back in Washington D.C., Berlin and Chicago). So streetlamp it is. Here are some constellations I´ve collected so far.
