Instagram Stories 5

The concept of Instagram is to let pictures speak for themselves, consequently most instagramers post a picture without a lot of comments. There are a few that add a poem or a fragment of a bigger story because they are poets or writers. I never just posted a picture and let it stand there. Almost right from the beginning I added at least a caption which would have a connection to the picture somehow. My supershortstories picked up at some point when I had the feeling that captions were simply not enough. These stories are so short, very often just a sentence long, that they are nothing more than just another form of captions. However one might call it, I went for the term supershortstories, which describes it quite well. After all, there is a story behind most photographs I take...

One thing most of my early Instagram photos have in common is the dark hue, the gloomy setting and atmosphere. The supershortstories would sometimes compensate for that and the photos will become friendlier later on.

With a throbbing head I woke up at the bank of the river and then had this view. For how long had I been unconscious, who knocked me down? The chase was fast and furious, but now it was back to zero. What now Berlin?

What a weird place to be. After the blow to my head everything looked a bit shaky and distant. But this was surely an interesting place, sort of a Jewish Vaterland.

On the second consecutive day of the sun being out, we went to the factory to initiate the revolution. We, the people, were fed up with bad weather and even worse pay. But not many people were enthusiastic about our new slogan, and so, the movement trickled to a tiny trickle.

The sun is back, and glory to heaven, I am finally released from the dark dungeon of the mordor-like world. There is only one obstacle left: the death circle with it's razor sharp lances around the edges- but I am prepared!

We were deep in it, I mean really deep deep. How to get out? Sure enough, by transcendental hyper power we very slowly started ascending. Wow, another day in the oh-my-god universe.

After I'd been sick and tired of the suburban MacMansion life for quite a while, I finally managed to fulfill a long term urban dream. Yes! This is life.

On the question of who is responsible for the new bad weather patterns, the group marched towards the old mill. It's rotors had been the hands of the devil from their point of view. But who the heck was the brains behind everything?

Ever since I drank that home-made brew in the dark alley tavern, I simply can't look straight anymore- no matter how hard I try. It's always this double-vision nonsense when I open my eyes.

Oh man, all of a sudden I found myself in a one-dimensional mural existence. Was I in Sweden? What was it with the guy and his roller-suitcase? And the dancing girl? Was she in danger, should I help her? And dang, that's when I found out that I couldn't move.

The Sweden reference here came after Donald Trump released one of his involuntary funny comments on world affairs. "We’ve got to keep our country safe. You look at what's happening in Germany, you look at what's happening last night in Sweden...”   But nothing happened in Sweden at the time. As is so often the case, he took something, blended it and reused it for his massive wise and wit output. Or as Carl Bildt, a former Swedish prime minister said: “Sweden? Terror attack? What has he been smoking? Questions abound,”

We founded the NWA (Nice Weather Army) and finally succeeded to force the clouds back. But alas, it was only for a short while. Nevertheless we are still full of optimism for a good ending.

Quite a few of the above supershortstories are about the (bad) weather. Everyone who´s been through a proper Berlin winter will understand me.
