After a weeks hesitation I decided to post some pics after all. There were so many nice contributions in the press- and social-media that I didn´t dare bring just another blog-post last weekend. Also, I didn´t take pictures as a project with only one camera, but just randomly snapped shots with whatever I had with me.

Blogging about Berlin is really difficult, as there are already so many good people out there doing documentations of about everything that happens in this vibrant city. Furthermore, I have to get used to the feedback by the Berlin crowd (most of them actually not Berliners); maybe I´ve still to learn to read between the lines, but they´re really strict with me. I guess I am still trying to blend and fit in, it´ll take some time. One thing though that seems to please most visitors, are the short texts that come along with the pictures.

So, to keep it short again, here are some images of the three day festivity.

Unfortunately no pictures of the balloon release action. We wanted to avoid the crowd and went to a friends house close-by, to watch the balloons from his roof. We saw nothing as we outsmarted ourselves; the lights stayed on the poles, hence the balloons lost illumination after a few feet in the air. Well, it was a blast anyway, we all had a good time enjoying the laid-back festive atmosphere of these three days in November.
